The big story on tonight’s Edge was about the wedding of Brooklyn Decker and Tennis player Andy Roddick. (Who decided this is the big story? Even people in the underground did not seem to care.)
The firs question (as correctly asked during the show) is: “Who the heck is Brooklyn Decker?” She is a model from Mathews, North Carolina. Her bigges claim to fame is appearances the past three years in Sport Illustrated Swimsuit Edition.
Andy first made contact with brooklyn not by phone. He had his Agent call her agent after seeing her in a Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition. (Yeah! The new way to meet women. Have your agent call their agent. As someone who is single will have to give that one a try.) As someone on the Underground said, Brooklyn has no meat on her bones. Too thin. Well she is no Morgan Fogarty! Morgan is healthy looking. Not looking like Brooklyn or some in Hollywood, who look like they have some very bad disease. So the question for tonight is would you go to Brooklyn’s wedding. It is in Austin. (One of the best places in the country to hear live bands!) Fred mentioned going to Morgan’s wedding. (I was not invited but then again, she has no clue who I am.) But am sure there are many who would want to go to brooklyn’s wedding. Free Food!
Morgan and Fred also talked about the Le Petite Spa which caters to kids. The spa located in North Miami Beach (You didn’t think it was in Shelby did you?) is geared to girls age 4-12. The year-challenged people can be pampered with pedicures, manicures, facials, organic oil body massages, hair styling, cucumber eye treatments (I hate cucumbers! But love pickels, but not pickle eye treatments.) and attend tea parties. The employees wear pink wigs.
There is instruction on body, skin & hair care, relaxation techniques and healthy living. To finish the girls can wear wings, tutus and get to stroll down the runway for the Fairytale Fashion Show. Fred said during the story “Its freaking me out.” Must freak a lot of people out. (Are we trying to get the kids of today growing up waaaayyyy too soon? It was mentioned there was a 58 year old woman in Brazil who was caught in the crossfire and hit by a bullet. Her life was saved by her Bra. It was stuffed with cash and the cash stopped the bullet. (No word on the condition of what else the bra was holding.) Ivonete Pereira was shot while aboard a bus. And shot in the bust (sorry could not help myself) by one of two attackers who tried to rob the bus in Salvador. She had 150 reals (about $60) hidden away. A retired police officer was killed in the clash. Ms. Pereira had to be taken to teh hospital to have the bullet (and probably some of her cash) removed.
Special guest Jordan gross, Panther’s Offnsive Tackle made an appearance on the Edge. He was promoting his Kickball Tournament to help benefit the fight against Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The final story was a tree grows inside a man’s lung. They originally thought it might be a tumor but doctors found a 2″ tall tree. (I have heard of “A Tree grows in Brooklyn” and not the Brooklyn getting married for all you sick people. With a great sense of humor! but never heard of “A Tree grows in a Man.”) I will not post a picture as its just sick!
would think that they earned enough money to pay their taxes. Nothing but greed. I paid my taxes. It was just a few days ago but I paid them. Not sure if they reported the amounts owed, correctly. Sinbad (real name Sinbad Adkins) owes $2.5 million; Dionne Warwick $2.2 million and Burt Reynolds made the list at number 244 and owes $225,008.64 in back taxes. This is what they owe the State of California. Nobody knows what they may owe the IRS. Now, where can we find the worst in North Carolina?
g a prostitute is a necessity….Yeah! The bill would amount to an excise tax of $5 a day on anyone that uses the services of a prostitute, legal or illegal. It was also brought up that The owner of the Bunny Ranch, Dennis Hof had been a guest on the Edge. Missed that one. They did not mention other legal brothels like the Chicken Ranch, Sheri’s Ranch, the Shady Lady and a number of others. Not that I would know. Looked it up!
